Xalet del Nin wedding venue is a stunning place in Vilanova i la Geltrú, a short drive from Barcelona. Its close proximity to the sea and enchanting garden was a stunning setting for my wedding reportage of Katrine and Kris' wedding. Although the majority of weddings celebrated in Cataluña tend to be outdoor many venues and masias alike seem all to have a small chapel available for weddings which reflects the Spanish millinery catholic traditions. Kathrine and Kris' ceremony took place in the lovely chapel available just behind the main garden. I would recommend to celebrate weddings in small chapels particularly for ceremonies that take place early in the afternoon sometimes summer sun can be quite intense.
The canapé area situated between the main building and swimming pool was waiting friends and family with delicious food and much needed shade from the catalan summer sun. After the refreshments, it was time to take Katrine and Klaus for their traditional wedding portrait session which I like it to be short and quick so not to take the freshly weds away from their family and friends for too long. Finally before everyone was making their way to the dining area we had a little time to take a great group photo of everyone looking at their absolute best. Xalet del Nin wedding venue has also a great dancing area. The lighting design for the party was brilliant and I loved the different colour cast and the playful interplay of primary colours.
